Haugbu offers flexible accommodation for a large family or group of friends. The property can be rented as a whole (150sqm) or divided into two: Haugbu North and South. Altogether, Haugbu accommodates up to 11 people.
When rented as one large cabin, there is plenty of space around the dining table for everyone to eat together. There are two lounges with wood-burning stoves.
There are four bedrooms. Two bedrooms have double beds, and two have bunk beds. The lounges have sofa beds.
There are two modern bathrooms, a sauna, and a washing machine and dryer.
The lounges, entrance hall, and bedrooms have underfloor heating.
There is a well equipped kitchen with a dishwasher.
All electricity and wood are included.
A well-behaved dog is permitted in this cabin, but please include the dog when booking.
Welcome to Venabygdsfjellet!
Venabygdsfjellet is a mountain area in the municipality of Ringebu. It lies between Gudbrandsdalen and Østerdalen. It has a good snow record from December to April, a stable winter climate, and fantastic ski terrain.
The Venabygdsfjellet plateau is on the southern edge of Rondane National Park, at an altitude between 850 and 1000 metres. The terrain lies partly in the birch forest belt and partly above the tree line. The mountain peaks are 1200–1400 meters and offer superb views in all directions.
