Relax and unwind in the mountains, take time for wellbeing during your holiday. Venabu Fjellhotell offers a variety of yoga and mindfulness classes during the summer and winter seasons. Several times a year we also run Yoga courses. 

Relaxation and sports massage are available during the high season at Venabu Fjellhotell. 

Yoga classes are offered every week in the winter season and at times in the summer. We have experienced instructors in Yin yoga, Vinjasa yoga and Ashtanga yoga. In a yoga class we focus on relaxation and breathing. No previous experience or fitness is required. It’s also possible to take part sitting in a chair instead of on a mat if necessary. 

Mindfulness is now recognised to support good health and reduce stress. Venabu offers Mountain Mindfulness weeks where you explore mindfulness practices indoors and outside in nature along with walks in the beautiful, wild land of Venabygdsfjellet.

Horse riding and yoga holidays. Enjoy this excellent combination of horse riding and relaxation, Venabu offers yoga and riding breaks to suit both beginners and experienced horseriders.

Welcome to Venabygdsfjellet!

Venabygdsfjellet is a mountain area in the municipality of Ringebu. It lies between Gudbrandsdalen and Østerdalen. It has a good snow record from December to April, a stable winter climate, and fantastic ski terrain.

The Venabygdsfjellet plateau is on the southern edge of Rondane National Park, at an altitude between 850 and 1000 metres. The terrain lies partly in the birch forest belt and partly above the tree line. The mountain peaks are 1200–1400 meters and offer superb views in all directions.
